WHAT IS CAN'T STOP THE SERENITY?
Can't Stop the Serenity
(CSTS) is an annual
fan-organized, world-wide event by various sponsors, Browncoat groups, and
individuals with the common goal of sharing their appreciation of the movie SERENITY
while raising money for Equality Now, an NPO whose mission is to combat injustice and
better the lives of women worldwide.
Equality Now is a major charity group that Firefly/Serenity creator Joss Whedon wholly supports, so in his honour evey year around
his birthday, thousands of fans across the globe celebrate Joss's ingenious and beloved works with a screening, prizes, gifts and good, old-fashioned
fun.
Thanks to the support of all the gracious fans, sponsors and Firefly groups, we have raised over $160,000 for
Equality Now since 2006.
